Professional Practice...

In conjunction with my private practice I also:

  • Work for Standby - an organisation providing counselling and crisis support to those impacted by suicide.
  • Contract to various EAP's (Employee Assistance Programs) to provide mental health seminars, counselling, and group debriefs
  • Run a regular MeetUp group for relationship education
In the past I've:
  • Provided group-work and counselling for full-time Carers of the chronically ill, disabled, aged and frail.
  • Tutored at QUT
  • And, volunteered at the Mater Cancer Care Clinic.

As a registered member of the Australian Counsellors Association (ACA) I adhere to their Code of Conduct and the associated PACFA ethical framework - and utilise ongoing professional supervision to monitor my work. 


Formal Education...

Masters of Counselling (QUT), Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education (Griffith University), Certificates in: Trauma Informed Care (Level 2), Positive Psychology, Conflict Resolution, Stress Management, Critical & Lateral thinking, Cultural Awareness, Teamwork, Instruction and various ongoing Psychotherapy/Counselling training for registration (Australian Counselling Association)

This has led to an integrated, client-centred and strength-based approach that includes; Brief, Solution Focused, Narrative, Person-centred, Emotion FocusedCBT and Psycho-Education.


Life Experience...

Includes: Business Consulting, Adult EducationTrain-the-trainer, Employee Relations, Community and Volunteer Work and Coaching

Personally, I love to travel, hike, snorkel/free-dive, surf and keep fit in general. I also love reading, life-long learning, plus hanging-out and good DnM's with family and friends.


I'm Brisbane CBD based, but also have access to a room in Greenslopes, and will use video conferencing.
